Meet "Bill"
My brother, Jim, gave us a hundred dollar bill (shown above) with specific instructions that we are to spend this money buying souvenirs for ourselves in Alaska.
So ...... since this "Bill" (thus the name "Bill") had to travel with us ... I thought I would have a bit of fun with it. Bill went everywhere with us and had quite a bit of fun on vacation too.
At any time during "Bill's" vacation you can verify if it is still the original "Bill" by clicking on his Serial Number.

This was "Bill's" first airplane ride.
"Bill" likes the cruise ship also.
"Bill" thinks this is for him
And he is very satisfied with the pillow.
He's really gonna love this vacation
This safe should keep him safe.
And even joined us for
dinner each night
"Bill's" day in Juneau
"Bill" wasn't into ziplining because he's afraid of heights, but he did enjoy shopping
"Bill's" day in Skagway
"Bill" visited with Prospector Charlie and saw what a real gold nugget looks like
and joined in our celebration at White Pass
"Bill" chose to stay indoors at Glacier Bay because he prefers to
keep his assets warm. The "Cold Cash" idea just didn't sound good to him.
But ...... "Bill" never passes up an opportunity to eat.
He's enjoying the Menage-a-Trois
And he met our waiter, Jose, too.
In Ketchikan, "Bill" checked out one of the totem poles.
"Bill" was also impressed with how friendly the wild animals are here.
"Bill" was quite bored on our last day so he tried his hand at playing some games on the ship
We had a tour of the galley and "Bill" got to meet one of the chefs.
"Bill" had a great last day
on our journey home
<< -- Is this still original "Bill"?
"Bill's" highlight of the trip was
getting his picture taken with the pilot and the first class stewardess from our flight.
Once we arrived home, "Bill" checked out all the wonderful gifts he bought.
These are lightweight jackets that are fleece lined and the outer shell serves as a wind breaker and rain jacket... plus it's reversible. The only cost was $20.00 each. This is what we wore most of the trip.
The saddest day in "Bill's" short life
was going to the bank to pay
for all the things he bought in Alaska.
That's the end of "Bill's" journey ... at least with us.
He is carefully studying
emergency procedures.
