Back in December, I won an online auction for a Scenic Flight for Two to Sedona.   We finally cashed in our prize and took that flight ... and the awesome pilot really delivered.

The flight path took us east over the Salt River, then over the "Great Lakes of Arizona" (Saguaro, Canyon, Apache, & Roosevelt).   From there we went Northwest into Sedona.

The flight was quite bumpy due to wind turbulence and I soon discovered that I do get motion sick.
(I was real close to losing my breakfast but was able to keep in all together.)

My brother Jim came out to visit and his only request was to go off-roading in the Arizona desert.

On January 31, 2025, we drove the Gila River Loop, just east of Florence.
Although I had a book with written step-by-step directions, it wasn't long before we were off coarse and making our own path.

This ride was one of the most difficult & technical rides I have ever done ... but loved every minute of if .... actually there were moments that I didn't really love.
Then on February 3rd, we drove out to Four Peaks.   Although the road was rated Easy, it was littered with rocks embedded in the road and made for a very bumpy ride.  But, oh what a view!
