CLOUDS & SUNSET IN ARIZONA

Rarely are we spontaneous ... but last night (Sept. 15, 2013) at 5:00 p.m.
we decided to take an 80 mile round trip on the motorcycle to go out to dinner
at a restaurant only 15 miles away.  A short drive sounded so boring.

As we started out, I asked the Lord to give us safety for the trip, and bring us beauty and joy.
He did all of that ... and then some.

Just for giggles ... here's the route we took.

Along the way, we encountered beautiful cloud formations building over the nearby mountains.
Then ... just before sunset, we stopped alongside a widened area of the Salt River.  All was very tranquil.
The Lord entertained us with a spectacular sunset.
A brief intermission to check out a skunk eating cat food left out for feral cats.  The picture on the left shows one of the cats.  Poor kitty ... can't even get it's dinner.

Our final destination ... Mammoth Steakhouse in Apache Junction.
This is located just across the road from Lost Dutchman's Mine State Park.
